Wheel hex adapters to widen track

These aluminium hex adapters increase wheel track by 23mm to enhance sideways stability on demanding rockcrawls and complex trail obstacles. They are made for AXIAL Racing SCX10 II rigs and take wheels with a 5mm mounting hole, attaching to 4mm threaded wheel shafts for reliable hold.

One face of each hex has an O-ring seating to maintain a snug fit, while the opposite face uses a spring steel retaining ring plus a spring, washers and a stainless screw to clamp the assembly. A Delrin collar inside the hex locates and secures the wheel so tyres do not rotate independently under load.

As a setup option for the SCX10 II, these adapters widen the stance without altering axle geometry, helping to maintain tyre contact and reduce roll during slow-speed, high-traction crawling.
