Designed for the Axial Racing Yeti platform, this 1pc rear main drive shaft is supplied as GPM YT237A. It combines an aluminium shaft section to reduce rotating mass with a hardened steel joint at the coupling for long life under load.
The lighter shaft lowers unsprung rotating inertia to help throttle feel and transient acceleration, while the hardened steel joint protects spline interfaces from premature wear. Stainless steel screws are included for secure fixing.
Fitting guidance: remove the original driveshaft fasteners and slide the replacement shaft into the gearbox and hub assemblies, confirm correct alignment and spline engagement, then tighten the supplied screws to the recommended torque. Re-inspect joint play and fastener security after a short run-in period.
Ideal for Yeti drivers wanting reduced rotating mass at the rear without sacrificing joint durability; follow the installation and inspection steps after initial runs to ensure reliable service.
