This aftermarket steering tie rod and servo horn assembly is designed for the Axial Racing Yeti XL chassis, combining a spring steel anti-thread tie rod with an aluminium servo horn for 24T spline output shafts. The aim is to strengthen the steering link where thread wear or stripping can occur and to offer a firmer connection between the servo and steering geometry.

How it works: the spring steel tie rod resists permanent thread deformation from impacts and repeated use, while the aluminium horn replaces a less rigid plastic spline interface to improve stiffness and repeatability in steering inputs. It is useful for drivers wanting tighter steering response or for replacing compromised steering parts.

Installation notes: check your servo is 24T spline compatible before fitting, centre the servo to avoid pre-load on the tie rod, and confirm there is no binding across the full range of suspension travel after installation.
