Wheel hex adapter details for RR10 Bomber

These alloy wheel hex adapters are intended to broaden the track on AXIAL Racing RR10 Bomber compatible models, supplying a 23mm overall hex width to improve lateral stability on technical sections. They are for RC-scale use and suit 4mm threaded wheel shafts plus wheels with a 5mm centre hole.

The retention arrangement comprises a Delrin collar installed inside the hex, an O-ring on one side, a spring steel retaining ring, a compression spring with washers, and a stainless screw on the other side. This configuration secures the hex under low speed, high traction crawling so wheels remain properly indexed on the hub.

Fitting guidance: mount the hex onto the 4mm threaded shaft, check that the Delrin collar is seated, compress the spring and tighten the stainless screw until axial play is removed but the wheel still spins on bearings. After a short test run, check wheel centring and re-torque the screw if required.

  • 22MM Stainless Steel Hex Socket Screws - 2pcs
  • 5MM Shim - 2pcs
  • 2 x M3.5 x 12 Screw Shaft - 2pcs
  • 2 x 10 Steel Pin - 2pcs
  • 5MM hole S2 Spacer - 2pcs
Yes, provided the wheel bore seating and hub dimensions are compatible and the 23mm width does not clash with suspension or body clearance on your setup.
No specialised fasteners are required beyond the supplied hardware; basic hobby drivers and clamps for spring compression are sufficient for installation.
After fitting, run the model briefly, verify wheel alignment and confirm there is no axial play; re-torque the stainless screw if any movement is detected.
