Differential bevel and pinion guide

This 3pc direct-fit kit replaces the differential output bevel and the motor pinion for Axial platform gearboxes. Parts are made from hardened steel #45 and the bevel gear features a spiral tooth profile to reduce shock loading and improve meshing under torque.

Included parts: diff bevel gear 38T (1pc), pinion gear 13T (1pc), M4*2.5*12 screw pin (1pc). Note: the M4*2.5*12 screw pin is not suitable for the Wraith platform; when fitting to Wraith models retain the original screws supplied with that kit.

Fitting advice: set correct gear mesh and check backlash after assembly, confirm the pinion is seated firmly on the motor shaft, and use an appropriate RC gear lubricant on the tooth faces. Take care with axial alignment due to the spiral-cut bevel to avoid premature wear.

Compatible Models

  • Axial RR10
  • Wraith
  • Yeti(90026,90050,90068)
  • SMT10 AX90055
  • AX90057

Suitable for replacing worn bevels or upgrading durability in Axial drivetrains; confirm screw choices for Wraith kits and fine tune mesh for consistent drivetrain behaviour.

Yes, the kit is intended as a direct replacement for the RR10 and related housings listed in the compatibility box, but confirm fit before final assembly.
Run the vehicle gently for a short break-in period, then recheck mesh and fastener torque. Fresh lubricant helps the mating surfaces settle in smoothly.
Hardened steel #45 improves wear resistance over softer steels, but long life still depends on correct mesh, lubrication and driving conditions.
Do not use the included M4*2.5*12 screw pin on Wraith kits; retain the Wraith original screws and confirm clearances after fitting.
They are suitable for hobby-level high torque use, but ensure correct mesh and regular inspection on high-power or competitive vehicles.
