Aftermarket wheel hex adapters for SCX10 II

These aluminium wheel hex adapters provide a 27mm total width to broaden track and enhance side stability on scale crawlers and trail vehicles. They are intended as an aftermarket upgrade compatible with AXIAL Racing SCX10 II and avoid the need to change hubs or axle geometry.

The adapters accept wheels with a 5mm centre hole and install onto a 4mm threaded wheel shaft, so fitment relies on those measurements. Internally a Delrin locating collar positions the hex and helps prevent axial slop, keeping wheel and tyre secured when traction peaks during technical moves.

Hardware secures the hex using an O-ring for preload on one face and a spring-steel retaining ring plus a spring with washers and a stainless steel screw on the other face. This arrangement lets you fine-tune retention to hold the wheel firmly without loading bearings.

Typical use is to widen the wheel stance for better cornering and stability in rock gardens and technical trails, and to limit unwanted wheel rotation when one tyre loses traction. Fitting is mechanical and suitable for routine hobby maintenance with standard hex drivers and basic hand tools.
