This JR-AS213 steel main centre drive shaft is an RC-scale replacement part intended for use with the Axial SCX10 II chassis. It provides a direct drivetrain connection to transfer torque between the transmission and axle assemblies in scale rock crawling and technical trail driving.
During fitting concentrate on correct engagement and clearance: inspect the driveshaft interface, confirm spline and yoke seating, and check for endplay or binding through the full range of suspension movement. As a steel component the shaft will change drivetrain inertia and wear patterns relative to common stock parts; address lubrication and bearing condition when installing.
Use the shaft to remedy play or damage in the original centre drive, and verify clearance around suspension links and underbody protection during articulation. Regular post-run inspections will identify wear at mating faces and universal joints early.
