The SCJ1906H wheel-and-tyre assembly is an aftermarket upgrade crafted for 1/10 scale rock crawlers. The machined aluminium 6-spoke rim is lightweight yet strong and is matched to a deep-lug crawler tyre pattern to maximise traction on technical lines. The wheel is produced to fit a 12mm hex and 5mm shaft hole arrangement commonly used across many crawler chassis.
Each wheel incorporates a 100g brass pendulum insert mounted low inside the rim; this increases vertical load at the contact patch to assist climbing without relying on electrical ballast solutions. The tyre tread and internal weight operate together to enhance grip at low speeds while preserving original suspension geometry and gearing choices.
Reference dimensions and masses: outer diameter 115mm, inner diameter 48.26mm (1.9"), tyre width 40mm, wheel hex 12mm, wheel weight 172g (no brass), brass insert 100g. Use these specifications when considering unsprung mass, gearing or shock valving to maintain crawl performance.
Fitment information: designed for 1/10 crawlers running 1.9" tyres with 12mm hex hubs and 5mm shaft hole compatibility. Always verify hub and hex standards on your chassis prior to fitting. The pack includes two assembled wheel-and-tyre units, complete with the 100g brass insert.
This wheel-and-tyre combination gives a straightforward mechanical route to improve low-speed traction and scale presence without altering drivetrain components.
