This pendulum wheel knuckle axle weight is designed as an aftermarket traction upgrade for Axial SCX10 based crawlers. The assembly features a brass main weight, an alloy lid, and a set of removable stainless steel rolling beads so you can increase or reduce downward force on each wheel to aid low-speed traction and recoveries on uneven surfaces.

The pendulum layout keeps mass low and outboard at the wheel knuckle to maintain steady downward pressure through suspension travel. Stainless steel beads roll inside the carrier to help the weight respond to articulation; each bead is around 4g and is removable to tune total wheel mass. Stainless materials are chosen to withstand wet and muddy environments.

Fitment and limits: mounts to the outer face of front and rear knuckles, requires a wheel inner diameter of 45mm and hub thread holes of 5mm, and the kit includes a 21mm hex adapter to increase effective hex width for wider wheel options. Assembled weight per unit is quoted at roughly 66 to 86 grams with eight beads, and it is recommended to keep at least three beads installed for consistent performance.
