This upgrade kit is intended for AXIAL SCX30 models and is built by GPM from 4140 medium carbon steel with a hardened black finish. It offers a compromise between strength and toughness suitable for rock crawling and trail work on 1/30 scale crawlers. The 3mm widened drive stubs extend each axle's track, improving lateral stability, increasing steering clearance and accommodating larger tyre profiles.
Fitment note: although the widened stubs are compatible with many SCX30 variants, the SCX30 Ford Bronco's lower bodyshell can interfere with the wider axles. For that chassis, pairing this kit with SCX30/26FR 26mm shocks is recommended to raise ride height and remove body interference.
The kit replaces factory front and rear drive parts and includes brass spacers for correct alignment. The upgrade is aimed at changing track width and driveline robustness rather than altering suspension geometry or motor output, so verify clearances and alignment before final assembly.
