145mm Aluminium Dampers for Scale Crawling

This replacement damper duo fits AXIAL SCX6 platforms and is supplied as two units to swap in for standard shocks. Bodies are manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminium and use a sealed shock-absorb cap to limit oil seepage and retain consistent damping during slow speed crawling and technical trail use.

Changes from common stock parts focus on service life and better tuning feedback: spring wire has been increased from 2.1mm to 2.2mm for a firmer spring characteristic, the damper rod is thickened from 5.0mm to a polished 7.0mm to cut bending risk, and the top spring retainer allows mechanical preload adjustments to alter perceived stiffness.

The dampers are suitable for front or rear mounting on compatible SCX6 axles, replacing OEM units while keeping the vehicle's top-retainer adjustment method. In operation they reduce internal friction and soak up impact loads to help the crawler remain balanced over rough ground.
