This two-piece stainless set is a scale-accurate underbody protector for the front and rear gearboxes used on Axial SCX6-style crawlers. The plates sit close to the gearbox lower surface to deflect stones, grit and light impacts encountered during trail or competition driving.

Chosen for corrosion resistance and surface toughness, stainless steel gives a harder wearing contact face than many plastics and helps reduce long-term abrasion from repeated debris strikes.

Installation is simple: the plates are profiled to the gearbox base and attach to the existing mounting points, providing a low-profile guard that does not alter suspension geometry or drivetrain alignment. They are intended as protective shields rather than internal part replacements.
