This aftermarket ring and pinion pair serves as a scale drivetrain replacement for AXIAL SCX6 vehicles. The gears are made from hardened 20Cr carbon steel with a black surface finish and feature spiral-cut helical teeth to improve contact distribution and reduce local stress versus straight-cut stock gears. The set is 1.35 module with a 32-tooth ring and a 9-tooth pinion designed for diff housing fitment.

In operation the pair transmits torque through the differential to the axle shafts; the spiral profile normally yields quieter engagement and lower point loading when the mesh is correctly adjusted. It is offered as a different ratio option versus the factory 12/43T 1.0 mod set noted as AXI252007; always confirm mechanical compatibility and mesh prior to finishing assembly.

Assembly tips: make sure the 1.35 pinion seats correctly, adjust backlash to a controlled clearance to avoid premature wear, check bearings and diff housing for excessive play, and lubricate the gear teeth before initial run-in.
