This stainless steel centre gearbox skid plate is intended for the 1/6 4WD SCX6 JEEP JLU WRANGLER platform. It mounts to the underside of the centre gearbox to reduce abrasion from sand and small rocks and to absorb the low-speed impacts you encounter on trail sections.

Constructed in stainless steel for improved corrosion resistance when exposed to moisture and airborne grit, the plate shields the lower gearbox face and helps prevent loose debris from reaching bearings and gears during extended outdoor use.

Installation is straightforward: the protector locates to the gearbox bottom and secures with the supplied flat head screws. Use modest torque to preserve chassis and gearbox threads, and check for any contact with suspension or driveline components after fitting.
