The MJ1555T assembly supplies an aluminium spur adapter coupled with a 55-tooth steel spur designed for AXIAL SMT10 derived chassis. It is supplied as an aftermarket replacement where greater gear durability is needed compared with stock plastic parts.
The kit contains the small mounting hardware and collars required to secure the adapter and spur to the original assembly. Installation usually uses the vehicle's existing mounting positions and shaft spacing for simple swap-in fitment.
This upgrade combines a wear-resistant 55T steel spur with a lightweight aluminium adapter to preserve mesh accuracy and reduce rotational inertia. Always set and check pinion mesh and ensure there is no interference with the gearbox housing or suspension during full travel.
