Aluminium steering link for SMT10 chassis

This aluminium steering link is a purpose-built aftermarket upgrade for AXIAL SMT10 platforms, aimed at owners of Wraith and SMT10 Monster Jam AX90055. Supplied as a 2-piece set, it swaps the original plastic link for a firmer metal alternative that reduces flex during use.

Design notes: metal ball ends are held with a secure retention method so the balls remain captive during transport and setup, aiding consistent steering geometry when driving aggressively. The focus is on steering accuracy and stability in tuning rather than changing basic chassis dimensions.

Installation and tuning: the link matches SMT10 steering geometry and installs using the existing linkage points. After installing a stiffer metal link, review wheel toe and steering travel and re-centre the servo to maintain predictable handling. Standard hex tools are all that is needed for fitting.
