13T Hardened Steel Pinion for Wraith

The WR9013TS is a hardened 13T steel motor pinion supplied as one unit for Axial Wraith models. It is intended as a direct-replacement pinion to recover gear integrity or to change the motor-to-spur ratio for different driving characteristics.

Purpose and compatibility: this pinion is suitable when replacing a worn 13-tooth motor gear or when lowering gearing to improve crawl torque. It pairs with standard spur gears without requiring chassis modifications.

Installation instructions: ensure the pinion is correctly seated on the motor shaft and that the set screw engages securely. Adjust the mesh to achieve a minimal but even contact, then run briefly at low throttle and recheck the fit and fasteners.

Tuning notes: altering the tooth count by one or two teeth will change the final ratio; choose based on motor characteristics and typical terrain. Inspect teeth regularly for wear, pitting or burrs and replace the pinion if damage is visible.
