This steering assembly rod is supplied for Axial Racing Yeti vehicles as model GYT049 and aligns with the AX31122 reference. It is supplied as a single replacement rod for cases where the stock steering linkage requires replacement or a firmer composite alternative is sought.
The rod serves as the steering linkage between servo output and steering knuckles, controlling the front end's motion and alignment. The graphite plus aluminium build is aimed at lowering flex while keeping mass reasonable, producing steadier steering feedback without changing existing steering geometry parts.
Installation is routine for model builders: remove the existing rod, compare length and pivot orientation against AX31122, move across any suitable hardware, and fit the new rod. Secure fasteners to normal hobby torque settings and verify the steering runs freely through its full travel with no binding.
In tuning terms, the graphite-and-aluminium rod is a handy upgrade to tighten steering response and maintain alignment under load.
