This aluminium steering assembly rod is an aftermarket replacement built for the Axial Yeti platform and listed as YT049. It is sold as a single steering rod, chosen as a stiffer option versus many factory plastic link rods for improved mechanical stability.

Use the rod to replace damaged steering hardware or to reduce flex in the steering linkage to achieve steadier steering response. Fitting normally requires removing the original rod and mounting the aluminium part to the existing linkage points, checking that ball/socket joints seat correctly and that full suspension travel remains free. The item is provided as 1 pcs and intended for hobby RC vehicles only.

Tuning note: this component does not affect your servo setup or electronics. Its benefit is purely mechanical, reducing compliance between servo and hub and aiding predictable steering during technical or high-load driving situations.
