Axial Yeti Steering Saver Upgrade

This gunmetal aluminum servo saver is an RC-scale replacement produced by JAZRIDER for the Axial Yeti chassis. It replaces standard plastic servo saver pieces with a machined aluminum unit to limit flex at the steering linkage and provide a firmer interface between the servo output and the steering geometry.

Fitting is simple for anyone used to 1/10 rock racer maintenance: remove the stock saver, retain any usable screws and the servo horn, push the aluminum saver onto the servo spline and confirm centring and steering travel prior to tightening. The part is made to work within the Yeti's existing steering layout without modifying chassis parts.

In practical terms the aluminium saver reduces deformation during loaded steering inputs to give more repeatable response and a firmer steering feel compared with softer stock components, which is useful for precise driving and competition settings.

Specifications

  • Item: Axial Racing Yeti Aluminum Servo Saver Set (Gunmetal)
  • Material: Aluminum
  • Model Number: YT-25007-GU
  • Compatibility: Axial Racing Yeti chassis

Use this unit when you need a firmer servo-to-linkage connection on Axial Yeti builds; always check spline compatibility and linkage geometry during installation and verify centring after initial running.

The saver is designed for Axial Yeti steering setups; confirm your existing linkage layout and servo spline count before fitting to ensure direct compatibility.
Some sellers include hardware, but often the saver is supplied without the servo horn; if not included you can reuse your stock horn if it is compatible with the spline type.
No chassis cutting should be necessary; the part is intended to fit within the standard Yeti steering geometry, though always verify clearances after installation.
Once installed, set the servo to neutral, attach the linkages, power the system and check for straight wheels and full, unobstructed travel; tighten hardware only after confirming correct centring.
