Front Steering Hub Carrier Compatible with BD8

The Yokomo B8-413GH is a hard-type front steering hub carrier produced from a graphite-containing resin compound for BD8 touring car series. The stiffer material offers greater rigidity than typical plastic carriers, which tightens steering response and helps maintain composure through demanding corners.

Items are supplied as one unit per side, left and right. Intended for BD8-compatible chassis; confirm your chassis code prior to installation. The carrier replaces the stock front hub carrier to adjust steering behavior and front-end feedback without altering suspension geometry.

Fitting notes: the carrier installs at the same mounting location as the original BD8 front hub carrier and accepts the standard fasteners and bearings from the assembly. After fitting check alignment and bearing preload, and ensure no contact with the servo horn or tie-rod travel before use.

Tuning notes: switching to this harder graphite-reinforced carrier reduces flex under steering loads, producing sharper initial turn-in and steadier mid-corner handling. Use it in concert with tyre selection and suspension adjustments to refine turn-in characteristics and balance.

Compatible Models

  • MRTC-BD818
  • MRTC-BD818A
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This carrier is designed for BD8-series chassis and lists MRTC-BD818 and MRTC-BD818A as compatible models; always confirm your chassis code before buying.
The increased rigidity reduces steering flex, so expect crisper turn-in. You may need to adjust tyre compounds or front suspension settings to maintain the desired balance and prevent oversteer.
No additional modification is typically required. The part uses the stock mounting arrangement and standard fasteners; inspect hardware and bearings and replace if worn before installation.
