BD9 2019 short centre bulkhead plate overview

This short centre bulkhead plate is designed to join the left and right centre bulkhead sections and secure them to the BD9 2019 main chassis. It replaces the longer standard plate and offers fewer mounting points to suit layouts that need a smaller footprint.

Confirmed compatibility is limited to MRTC-BD919 and MRTC-BD919S chassis codes, so check your chassis identifier before fitting. The smaller number of fixing holes changes how the bulkhead interfaces with the chassis, so use the correct chassis version to maintain intended alignment and fit.

Fitting notes: place the plate between the centre bulkhead halves, align the available holes, and use the original BD9 2019 kit fasteners to secure it; avoid forcing screws into non-matching holes. Functionally, the short plate retains the centreline connection while imparting a marginally different stiffness characteristic versus the longer plate, which may influence balance and handling decisions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This plate supports the BD9 2019 chassis variants marked MRTC-BD919 and MRTC-BD919S only. Confirm the code stamped on your chassis before ordering.
Possibly, but only if the hole pattern and alignment match. If the chassis revision has different mounting layouts, the plate may not align correctly, so verify measurements or test-fit without tightening before committing.
It can affect local stiffness and therefore handling balance. Consider testing the plate alongside minor setup adjustments to springs or anti-roll settings to compensate for any change in chassis behaviour.
