The RX-105 Xi Gundam is presented here as an HGUC 1/144 model kit. Within the Universal Century setting and as seen in Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, the Xi Gundam is portrayed as a more advanced, later-generation design following earlier UC conflicts. The kit interprets those design priorities into a High Grade format that highlights separated armor panels, articulated limb joints, and a proportionate silhouette for both display and posing experiments.

Difficulty: normal. Useful tools include nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks or files, and tweezers. The kit is intended for snap-fit construction; adhesives are optional for builders who prefer reinforced joins.

Finishing pointers

Remove sprue remnants with light sanding and address any visible seam lines on prominent panels. Panel lining and selective painting will accentuate mechanical detail; topcoats can lock in decals and paintwork.
