XRT 8S battery mounting solution

This aluminium hold-down kit is made for TRAXXAS chassis and suits common 1/6 scale electric battery packs. The 7075-T6 construction reduces plate flex and the assembly pairs snap-lock clamps with 3M adhesive foam pads to help prevent pack movement during hard driving or on rough tracks. The layout aims for secure retention and a simple fit while leaving pack placement and tuning to the modeller.

Fitting is straightforward using the supplied flat head screws or the included 3M adhesive pads, chosen based on boss access and builder preference. Snap-lock clamps give a reliable clamp point for typical 1/6 packs while the aluminium base helps stop the pack from shifting. Place the battery to maintain the vehicle's centre of gravity, then secure with screws into tapped bosses or with adhesive pads where screws are impractical.
