Body mount fit and function

The Yokomo BD-016FS is a purpose-built front body mount support that reduces play at the front posts for BD7 and BD5 chassis types. It helps prevent body flex and vibration from affecting aerodynamic balance and handling feel during precision on-track setup.

The assembly uses a carbon main post together with aluminum collars that slot into the existing body post stack and work with standard mounting hardware. It does not change the established mounting geometry but provides a firmer connection between the shell and chassis to lessen unwanted movement.

Fitment is simple: remove the OEM front post, route the BD-016FS through the body shell, set the collars to the preferred clamp height, and secure with your usual nuts or clips. Always check steering clearance and perform a short validation run to confirm final body mount settings.
