Small-step body height adjuster

The BD-ABM6 from Yokomo is a compact sleeve system that fits over standard 6mm body posts to allow measured, small-step alterations to body height on 1/10 on-road and drift cars. It is a useful option when you need fine changes without altering the main post or cutting the shell.

Use the supplied adjustable nut and O-ring to lock the sleeve in place once the required height is set. The arrangement permits fine adjustments to prevent body-to-tyre or body-to-chassis interference and aids in tweaking front/rear rake for handling balance.

To fit, slide the sleeve onto the post, set the desired position, then secure with the nut and O-ring. Re-check body clearances after fitting and tighten as needed. The product is intended for model use only.

Will using the BD-ABM6 affect body balance?

Yes, micro height changes can alter front-to-rear rake and therefore handling. Use small steps and test drive between adjustments to find the best balance for your setup.

Are the included O-rings necessary?

The O-rings help prevent the sleeve from slipping and provide a secondary locking measure. They are recommended for secure, repeatable positioning during use.

Can I use the BD-ABM6 on both front and rear posts?

The kit contains two sleeves and two nuts so you can equip a pair of posts, typically front or rear as required, to achieve matched clearance on both ends of the car.
