Steering response upgrade: B7-202S1

The Yokomo B7-202S1 is a steering bell crank developed for BD-7 series chassis. Its arm is 1mm longer than the stock BD-7 bell crank, producing a slightly faster initial steering reaction by altering the leverage at the pivot.

Ball bearings are press-fitted into the support section to reduce friction and keep steering input consistent throughout a run. Because these bearings are factory pressed, the unit comes with bearings installed and aligned for easy replacement of the original bell crank.

This part is meant as a tuning device to increase initial steering bite without requiring changes to tie-rod lengths or major servo endpoint adjustments.

For BD-7 setup tweaks the B7-202S1 supplies a low-impact way to sharpen turn-in while keeping installation simple.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The change is subtle but effective: expect crisper initial steering and quicker turn-in without large mid-corner differences. It is a tuning refinement rather than a dramatic handling modification.
Most users only need small endpoint or subtrim tweaks, if any. Fit the part, test a few laps, then make minor trims to restore your preferred steering balance if required.
The bearings are supplied pressed in and ready. For long-term service, keep them clean and check for play; replacement requires a press tool to avoid damaging the support area.
Yes, it is a sensible first tuning move when you want sharper initial steering without wholesale suspension or linkage changes. It lets you evaluate turn-in improvements with minimal setup disruption.
