Inner Axle for Inboard Double-Joint CVDs

The BD-010AW is a replacement inner axle made for the double-joint inboard CVDs fitted to Yokomo BD7 and BD5 cars. Replace the shaft when you notice looseness, binding, or visible damage to ensure consistent drive transfer.

Supported chassis include: MRTC-BD716 / MRTC-BD716H / MRTC-BD716O / MRTC-BD716S / MRTC-BD7RS / MRTC-BD715B / MRTC-BD715O / MRTC-BD715S / MRTC-BD7RS2 / MRTC-BD7RS3S / MRTC-BD8 / MRTC-BD8A / MRTC-BD8-P / MRTC-BD8AP / MRTC-BD8SV / MRTC-BD818A / MRTC-BD818.

Installation guidance: this axle replaces the inner shaft that connects the double-joint CVD to the differential output, so it directly affects alignment and driveline characteristics. When fitting, inspect CVD cups and cross pins for wear, ensure no excessive endplay exists in the housings, and confirm the shaft rotates smoothly throughout suspension travel to preserve handling predictability.

Care recommendations: inspect for nicks, bends, or slop at joint ends and replace the axle if binding or excessive play occurs. Keep mating surfaces and bearings clean and re-evaluate after initial test runs following any replacement.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Check your chassis for the MRTC model code and cross-check it with the supported list shown above to confirm compatibility before purchase.
Inspect the axle during routine servicing or after heavy sessions; look for play, binding, or damage and replace the shaft if any of these symptoms appear to avoid secondary driveline issues.
