Product description and tuning impact

This suspension arm is a direct replacement for use with the optional RTC (Rear Toe Control) unit on BD8 2018 cars. It features a 53mm in/out suspension pin distance and a 39.5mm shock pivot to replicate RTC geometry used on BD8 chassis.

Compatibility is aimed at BD8-family on-road vehicles and the arm is explicitly suitable for MRTC-BD8SV. Fit this arm when you need to install or fine-tune the RTC assembly to modify rear toe behaviour without changing the bulkhead or core suspension layout.

Installation guidance: supplied as a direct-fit spare for the BD8 RTC mount points, so reuse existing pins and hardware where serviceable. After fitting, check clearance and articulation and ensure there is no contact with the shock absorber or driveshafts.

Tuning notes: this arm allows controlled adjustment of rear toe sensitivity as part of an RTC-equipped rear end. Small changes to arm position or pivot location result in consistent toe response during cornering and braking, aiding precise setup for on-road performance.

It is engineered for BD8 RTC geometry; compatibility with third-party uprights depends on whether those parts preserve the same RTC mounting positions. Check match of mounting points before assuming fitment.
Verify the arm moves freely through its range, that fasteners are secure, and that shock and driveshaft clearance is maintained. Inspect for any unusual play and recheck alignment after the first run.
Adjustments via the RTC arm produce measured, incremental changes in rear toe behaviour. The effect is intended for precision tuning of corner exit and mid-corner balance rather than broad handling overhauls.
