Compatibility and Fit for B-MAX Front Shocks

This front shock spring, supplied as Yokomo BM-S1295, is intended for use with big-bore X-shock assemblies on B-MAX off-road platforms. It provides a direct spring replacement to tune or restore front suspension characteristics without changing the rest of the shock unit.

Compatibility applies only to the listed B-MAX chassis codes: B-MAX2MR2, B-MAX2MR3, B-MAX2RS, B-MAX43G and B-MAX43GF. Confirm your shock assembly is the big-bore X-shock type prior to installation.

Fitting advice: carry out normal shock disassembly steps, slip the spring over the shaft, adjust preload at the collar until the desired ride height is reached, then reassemble making sure the spring is seated correctly. Standard RC maintenance tools are sufficient.

Handling impact: fitting this spring will change front compliance and feedback, which affects steering behaviour and weight transfer during jumps. For best results, adjust damper oil and piston selection alongside the spring swap to suit the surface conditions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
This spring fits the big-bore X-shock format used on B-MAX2MR2, B-MAX2MR3, B-MAX2RS, B-MAX43G and B-MAX43GF; check your chassis code against the list.
Use on other variants is not recommended unless you verify the shock uses the big-bore X-shock style and dimensions match.
Confirm shock type, inspect for straight seating and correct preload, and review damper oil and piston setup to ensure balanced handling after installation.
