Dedicated rear spring for B-MAX2 Ver.2 X-shock

This rear shock spring is tailored for the B-MAX2 big bore X-shock Ver.2 rear assembly and features the S. blue finish noted in the listing. It is provided as a direct replacement for the rear X-shock spring.

The component supplies the preload and main restoring force for the rear big bore damper and must be paired with the X-shock Ver.2 piston, shaft, and outer body; it is not a complete damper.

To install: remove the rear X-shock unit from the model, undo the shock cap and spring retainer, fit the new spring onto the shock body, and rebuild using your current internals and chosen preload. Confirm correct seating and unobstructed shaft movement before refitting.

Setup notes: this spring lets you fine tune rear ride height and initial response within the Ver.2 hardware range—check that collars and retainers are compatible. Do not attempt to mount on mismatched shock assemblies.

Compatibility:

  • B-MAX2 big bore X-shock Ver.2 rear (B2-S1L?4, 600) supported chassis
  • B-MAX2MR2
  • B-MAX2MR3
  • B-MAX2RS

It is designed for the B-MAX2 big bore X-shock Ver.2 rear assembly and listed compatible models; verify your shock type before installing.
Not always. If you are only adjusting initial response, try the new spring with existing oil and pistons first, then adjust damper settings if further change is needed.
After fitting, check spring seating, confirm free shaft travel, verify preload, and carry out a short test run before full use.
