Low-profile carbon undertray for Fazer D2

The Kyosho FAW319 under chassis is produced as a 2.2mm carbon plate (FZD2) and serves as a direct optional upgrade for the Fazer D2 chassis. Positioned under the original chassis, it reduces flex to raise rigidity and steering precision while promoting more consistent traction in on-road drift and handling scenarios.

Fitment is limited to the Fazer D2 chassis platform; the item attaches at the existing mounting points and is compatible with standard on-road components such as servos, ESC and motor without changing the basic arrangement. No extensive modifications are expected during normal installation but confirm fitment before final assembly.

As a tuning device, this undertray stiffens the lower chassis to limit unwanted bend, sharpen transient response and stabilise traction through corner transitions. Drivers should expect adjustments in turn-in and mid-corner characteristics and balance those effects with shock tuning, roll centre settings and tyre choices when optimising a drift setup.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Fitting the 2.2mm carbon plate reduces lower-chassis flex under lateral loads, which tends to make steering inputs more immediate and traction more repeatable during transitions.
Carbon is stiff and can resist wear, but like any composite, it is vulnerable to sharp impacts. Regular inspection is recommended after heavy use or contact incidents.
Yes. By making the chassis stiffer, the undertray can reduce variable flex that otherwise changes tyre load during a run, aiding consistent traction from corner to corner.
It is designed as a tuning upgrade for on-road drift and handling; its suitability for competition depends on class rules and personal setup choices rather than being an out-of-the-box competition mandate.
