Aluminium battery hold-down for CC02 chassis

This aluminium battery hold-down is made to fit the TAMIYA CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 and carries the part number CC20126. It replaces the stock plastic clip to offer a more positive grip on the battery and to assist heat dispersion from the pack during use.

The body is machined from 6061 T6 aluminium to provide a reliable mix of light weight and tensile strength, and the patterned finish encourages airflow around the battery surface. This is a mechanical upgrade that does not alter the vehicle's electrical systems.

Fitting is simple on CC02 vehicles: place the hold-down over the battery and secure with the supplied black body clip. The component sits within the factory battery zone to preserve scale appearance and fit.

During scale driving the hold-down helps prevent battery movement under cornering and trail obstacles, supporting steady weight distribution and predictable handling.

Will this work with larger LiPo packs?

It will fit packs that sit inside the standard CC02 battery bay; measure your pack before fitting to ensure clearance for the clip.

Does it require body modification?

Is the finish corrosion resistant?

The machined aluminium has a standard protective finish; regular cleaning after wet use is recommended to keep surfaces looking and performing well.
