What the Cero Knuckle Ver.2 does

The SAK-C141/V2 Cero Knuckle Ver.2 is an RC steering knuckle made as a direct replacement for Cero-style front ends. It concentrates on steering pivot geometry and front suspension characteristics while leaving drivetrain and motor mounting unaffected.

As the component that locates the hub and establishes the steering axis and scrub radius, the Ver.2 revision adjusts pivot points to yield steadier steering during weight transfer and braking. This part targets 1/10 scale electric touring and pan car platforms that use the Cero knuckle arrangement.

To fit the knuckle, remove the wheel hub and steering linkages, fit the Ver.2 knuckle in place of the stock item, then reinstall hub, bearings, and tie rods. After fitting, recheck steering link lengths, toe, and bearing alignment to prevent binding and uneven wear.

When tuning, note the knuckle will influence camber change and steering behavior under load; use shock mount position, roll center tweaks, and swaybar settings to refine handling rather than altering the knuckle geometry itself.

No special maintenance is required beyond routine inspection of bearings, fasteners, and steering linkages; keep components clean and periodically check for play.
Verify free bearing rotation, correct steering geometry, and absence of binding through full suspension travel before final torqueing of hardware.
The knuckle alters pivot geometry slightly, which can affect roll center; larger roll center changes are achieved via shock positions and anti-squat settings rather than the knuckle alone.
It is built for the Cero knuckle format; compatibility with earlier or nonstandard revisions depends on exact hub and bearing dimensions and may require verifying fitment before installation.
