The Kyosho H6034 is a purpose-built tail drive coupling for the Concept 60 helicopter tail driveline. It forms the mechanical connection between the tail output shaft and the tail rotor drive and is supplied for replacement during maintenance when wear or looseness is identified.
Installation follows standard tail assembly procedures: remove the tail boom access cover, check the existing coupling and the mating shafts for wear, and replace the coupling while confirming alignment and correct fastener torque. Use suitable hex drivers and apply the helicopter manufacturer's torque recommendations to avoid over-tightening the link points.
As part of routine setup and tuning, the coupling contributes to preserving correct tail rotor alignment and limiting play that can cause tail instability. After replacement carry out a ground rotor and control response check to ensure the tail operates smoothly with no binding before flight.
