This 1/12 scale plastic model kit represents the D'Antin Pramac Ducati GP4, modelled as a V4 truss-frame racing motorcycle for experienced modellers and collectors seeking authentic period detail.
The actual D'Antin Pramac Ducati ran Ducati Desmosedici-based machinery in the mid 2000s. In the 2005 season the team campaigned a GP4-derived Desmosedici, running on Dunlop tyres and wearing a red-and-black livery with hibiscus flower motifs on the cowling. Roberto Rolfo rode the No.44 machine while the operation served as a satellite support within Ducati's broader racing activities.
The kit mirrors the GP4 truss-frame and V4 arrangement typical of the Desmosedici line. Included are new moulded parts to represent NISSIN brake calipers and synthetic rubber tyres bearing Dunlop markings specific to this issue. Side and seat cowlings are manufactured to be removable to allow the engine area to be shown. A detailed Cartograf decal sheet is included to reproduce the livery and race numbers accurately.
Assembly follows normal multi-part construction practices for 1/12 motorcycle kits. Accurate frame alignment and careful installation of brake components will enhance scale realism; using decal setting fluids and precise masking for the two-tone paint scheme will help deliver a faithful finish. Supplied tyres are synthetic rubber to reflect the appearance of racing slicks at scale.
A true-to-scale 1/12 assembly kit that recreates the GP4 truss-frame and period livery, offering both display value and detailed components for skilled modellers and collectors.
