Summary of the D-MAX transmission spacer

The Yokomo SD-302DS spacer set is made for D-MAX standard parts and provides a simple shim placed between the centre transmission case and the upper deck to alter the vertical gap at that junction.

Offered as a basic tuning aid, the kit contains multiple pieces that allow incremental stack-up so you can refine clearance and alignment without modifying the case. Because it occupies the case-to-deck interface, the spacer will affect how driveshafts and internal assemblies align, which is useful when setting up or maintaining the chassis.

Fitting is straightforward: release the upper deck fastenings, insert the spacer(s) to achieve the required clearance, and retighten the deck bolts. Inspect driveline alignment and carry out a short operation check to confirm there is no binding. This product is intended for model chassis adjustments only.

Packing list

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It helps correct insufficient vertical clearance between the centre case and upper deck, which in turn can reduce driveline binding and improve component alignment when adjusted correctly.
They are designed for standard D-MAX configurations; compatibility with other aftermarket decks depends on the specific parts involved, so check mounting points and total deck height before finalising fitment.
After installation, rotate the driveline by hand to confirm smooth movement, then run a short low-speed test while observing for heat or unusual resistance; readjust spacer stack if any binding is detected.
