Function and effect of the rear mount

This aluminium rear suspension mount is intended for installation on the rear side of the suspension arm on DP-design platforms. It adjusts the toe geometry of the rear arm to influence handling balance; minor toe shifts are often used to refine both corner entry and mid-corner response.

The 2.5 Deg setting provides a moderate toe change compared with smaller options. In general, more rear toe reduces rear bite during turn-in and nudges the balance toward understeer, while less rear toe increases rotation and can lead to oversteer. Introduce this part as part of staged setup work, changing one element at a time to measure the practical effect.

Fitting uses the stock rear suspension mounting points plus the supplied spacers and pin balls to secure the unit. The supplied hardware removes the need for extra fasteners, and the aluminium construction helps sustain consistent geometry in typical RC running conditions.
