Embla SZM2 tail stabilizer overview

This stabilizer blade is an RC-scale tail component intended for use with the Embla SZM2 helicopter family. It is the normal-type replacement stabilizer that performs the primary role of providing a reference surface for the tail pitch system and helping to stabilise yaw response during hover and transition maneuvers.

Compatibility is focused on Embla SZM2 series helicopters; fitment depends on the stock tailboom, tail hub and linkage geometry remaining standard for the model. The blade itself is a single-piece stabilizer designed to interface with the model's tail hub and linkage points without alteration to the main airframe.

Installation notes: remove the existing stabilizer from the tail hub, inspect attachment points for wear, then mount the HI0304104 blade using the original fasteners and linkage hardware. After installation, verify centerline alignment and free movement of the tail linkage, then perform a static balance and basic hover test at low throttle to confirm expected behaviour before full flight.

Tuning role: swapping to this normal-type stabilizer alters the tail's aerodynamic reference and can change response feel and neutral stability. Use incremental adjustments to tail trim and tail rotor pitch linkages while performing controlled hover tests to dial in the desired yaw damping and pitch response for your setup.

Measure the tailboom and compare hub and linkage geometry to the original part. If your airframe uses standard hub spacing and linkage points, the stabilizer should mate without modifications.
The blade is intended to fit standard Embla SZM2 layouts and normally installs with the original fasteners. Only fitment checks are recommended; avoid altering the airframe where possible.
After fitting the HI0304104, ensure the unit is secure, linkage movement is unobstructed and perform a low-throttle hover to check balance and tail behaviour before normal flight.
