Mount Plate Built for Inferno NEO 3.0 & 4.0

The Kyosho IF290B engine mount plate is supplied as left and right halves marked L and R and is identified by the t=4.0 thickness code. It provides the connection between the nitro motor and the chassis on Inferno NEO 3.0 and 4.0 vehicles, ensuring a firm mounting point and consistent engine alignment when servicing or replacing the engine.

Fit notes: the plate is produced to the bolt pattern and spacing used on Inferno NEO platforms; preserve the original mounting hardware and verify left/right orientation before torquing. Installation generally requires removing the top deck and carefully aligning the motor flange to set the correct spur and pinion mesh with the gearbox.

Service and setup: a replacement mount plate restores accurate engine placement following impact or wear and acts as a reference when adjusting engine setback or cooling clearances. Use common workshop procedures to secure hex screws and recheck alignment after running the car.

The t=4.0 marking denotes the plate thickness; it may slightly alter engine setback and should be confirmed against your current components to maintain cooling and gearing clearances.
Fit the left and right halves loosely at first, align the motor flange relative to the gearbox, set the gear mesh, then tighten mounting screws evenly while monitoring engine alignment.
