Six-arm Type-B horn overview

The Futaba FUSHORN-B six-arm Type-B horn is an accessory for RC servos that provides multiple mounting points to refine linkage geometry. With a D6mm spline interface it is intended to work with Futaba standard servo output shafts and offers flexible mechanical leverage options.

This set contains 4 identical six-arm horns and does not include mounting screws. Different arm choices permit quick changes to throw radius during setup. Fit the correct length screws and hardware recommended for your servo to protect the spline and horn from wear.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the existing horn screw, align the D6mm spline on the horn to the servo shaft, set the servo to neutral, then secure the screw (not included) with the horn held in the desired orientation. After installation verify end points and transmitter trim to prevent binding under load.

For setup strategy, longer arms amplify travel but lessen perceived torque, while shorter arms reduce movement and increase controllability. The multiple arms let you iterate ratios rapidly between test runs or on the bench.
