This aftermarket front CVD drive shaft is supplied as part HS2067FS and is designed for TAMIYA HOTSHOT II 1/10 scale models. The component is formed from 4140 medium carbon steel and uses a thickened profile to increase wear resistance compared with standard dog bone parts.
The product replaces the front dog bone arrangement with a CVD-style shaft, provided as two 67mm pieces. Installation involves removing the stock dog bone, fitting the CVD cups into the existing hubs and confirming spline and hex engagement; no additional adapters or fitting tools are included.
As a tuning upgrade, the front CVD shaft is aimed at improving front drivetrain durability and torsional control. Regular checks on spline engagement and light lubrication of the joint and adjacent bearings will keep the front drivetrain operating consistently over time.
The GPM HS2067FS front CVD shaft offers a direct-fit reinforced alternative for HOTSHOT II front drivetrains, improving durability and simplifying routine servicing.
