Shell lock replacement kit

This aluminium body shell lock is a compact securing accessory designed to keep the model's shell held firmly in place while running. Manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminium, the parts provide a reliable, low-weight mounting point that resists bending under load.

What hardware is supplied with HS005?

Supplied items are two aluminium shell lock pieces and one stainless steel round head screw for mounting to the body shell attachment.

Will this change body alignment?

When fitted correctly the locks stabilise the body without altering its intended position. Fit loosely first and align with factory holes before tightening securely.

Are these suitable for salt-exposed environments?

The aluminium body and stainless fastener resist corrosion in normal conditions, but rinse and dry parts after exposure to salt or heavy moisture to prolong life.
