Formula front belted slick tyre for refined steering

This is an RC front belted slick tyre designed for Formula-style model cars and supplied in a Medium compound. Its role is to influence the front's turn-in and steering feedback rather than providing maximum overall grip.

Fitting is simple: trim any mould flash, mount onto a correctly sized wheel, apply tyre glue at the bead, and allow the adhesive to cure fully. Take care to seat the tyre evenly on the rim to prevent runout that can upset steering precision.

Use the tyre to fine-tune steering behaviour; increasing front mechanical grip will sharpen turn-in but may alter mid-corner balance. Make incremental toe and camber adjustments and test on a smooth track surface. Clean the tyres and verify bead seating after each session for repeatable performance.

How should I inspect bead seating after mounting?

Yes. Removing rubber dust and debris preserves consistent contact patch behaviour and prevents progressive changes in steering feel during a meeting.

Any simple test routine to evaluate setup changes?

Make one setup change at a time, run a couple of consistent laps to compare entry and mid-corner balance, and log results so you can reverse or refine changes objectively.
