BD-643F front pulley: purpose and fit

The Yokomo BD-643F is a 40T front one-way pulley intended for BD5 and BD7 front one-way assemblies in scale RC cars. It acts as a direct replacement to restore or fine-tune front drivetrain engagement and is provided with the basic screws required for installation.

This product is supplied as a single 40T pulley designed exclusively for the front one-way/differential assembly of the model drivetrain and does not relate to real vehicle components.

Fitting advice: remove the front one-way hub in accordance with your chassis instructions, position the BD-643F on the hub, tighten the supplied fasteners, and ensure the pulley spins freely and engages correctly before using the model. Do not overtighten and make sure the pulley orientation matches the one-way mechanism.

In most cases the BD-643F fits directly into BD7 front one-way assemblies without additional parts. Inspect the one-way hub and related components for wear and replace as necessary to ensure correct mating.
Use the supplied Nabe screws to fasten the pulley, tighten gradually and check rotation after each stage. Final torque should ensure the pulley is secure without restricting free spin.
Manually rotate the front drivetrain to confirm the one-way locks and releases as expected, then run a short controlled test to validate engagement under operational loads.
