This FCD (full counter drift) gear set alters the front-to-rear drive ratio on ball-differential drivetrains to produce a controllable counter-drift response when combined with Yokomo DP-series drift package parts. The front turns at 0.59 of the rear (40T x 10T), which creates an under-rotation at the nose and necessitates more measured steering and throttle inputs than a neutral drive split.

As a front-reduction unit, it must be used with a working ball differential and is aimed at drift-focused setup work, not outright speed. Expect gentler front bite on corner entry and a requirement for finer throttle and brake modulation to keep the rear predictable.

Installation reminders: confirm correct gear mesh and differential preload after assembly, inspect bearings and lubrication, and perform incremental track checks to settle on the preferred balance. This is a tuning accessory for DP-series drift arrangements and will modify handling characteristics.
