Front Upper A-arm, Chamfered Design for YD-4

This chamfered front upper A-arm in aluminium is an optional upgrade intended for YD-4 1/10 electric touring chassis. It replaces the original plastic component with a machined aluminium part to tighten mounting tolerances and increase structural stiffness.

The left and right pieces are supplied to match the YD-4 layout and accept the stock upper arm rod end. Fitted correctly, the arm reduces flex at the upper link and helps preserve predictable suspension geometry during repeated runs.

Specifications

  • Item: Chamfered front upper A-arm (left and right)

Use this part when you need a direct replacement that keeps YD-4 geometry while improving steering consistency; always confirm your car's arm mount and rod end layout before fitting.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The arm is designed for the standard YD-4 mounting arrangement. Check that your variant uses the same upper arm pivot and rod end layout before fitting, as some special editions may differ.
Match the left and right markings or compare to the removed factory arms. Ensure the chamfered faces clear the shock tower and steering link, then tighten pivot hardware to the original torque.
The arm is a direct geometry replacement and should not change ride height or shock mounting angles. After installation, verify suspension travel and make minor alignment checks to confirm no unintended changes occurred.
Periodic inspection of pivots and fasteners is recommended. Clean and check for play after hard running, and ensure threads and rod ends remain secure to maintain consistent fitment.
