Shock Protection Covers

This item is a front and rear shock cover set offered as 2prs, created to protect shock bodies from mud, grit and light impact wear encountered in normal RC use. The covers slip over the shock assembly to shield exposed shafts and seals while maintaining access for routine maintenance and setup. These parts are intended for model use only.

Fitting is straightforward: compress or remove the spring as required by your shock type, slide the cover into place on the shock body, then reinstall the spring and retainer. Check clearance for shaft travel and spring compression before full-speed use, and do not force covers onto incompatible or oversize shocks.

The covers are protective in purpose and are not a tuning accessory; they reduce contaminant entry into the shock internals and may extend service intervals but will not change spring rate or damping behaviour. Replace any cover that shows cracking or deformation that could impede suspension movement.
