The rocker arm is sized for the FS-62V engine designation and converts camshaft movement into valve operation. It is intended as a replacement component for restoring correct rocker function in FS-62V nitro engines.
Installation notes: remove the head and rocker shaft per the engine maker's service procedure, inspect contact points and the rocker pivot for wear, refit the rocker arm on the original shaft, and reassemble using clean parts. Do not alter valve clearances without measuring, and confirm unobstructed rocker and valve movement before final assembly.
Tuning and maintenance: because the rocker arm affects valve timing and lift under load, include it in routine inspections to keep throttle response and idle stable. Replace the rocker arm if you encounter excessive play, scoring, or inconsistent valve seating.
