This serration servo horn is made to mate with Futaba S9152 and S9153 servos and is sold as a set of three pieces without mounting screws. The Type-U six-arm configuration provides a range of lever lengths while the serration interface locates to the servo spline to reduce the risk of slippage under load.
Fitting is done by seating the horn fully onto the spline so the serrations engage, selecting the arm position that gives the desired steering throw, and securing the horn with an appropriate screw sourced from the servo kit or parts bin. Confirm free movement through the steering arc before final tightening.
The six arm choices let you fine-tune steering response mechanically; shorter arms raise torque at the linkage and lower travel, longer arms do the reverse. This horn is intended as a direct mechanical component for adjusting steering geometry on RC cars and similar models.
